This page and sub-pages are dedicated to analyses published by the CERMAA, including video analyses.
Video analyses are an alternative to Old Musicology analyses with scores, and allow for direct (graphical and literal) explanations while listening the the analyzed music.
The first video analysis produced by CERMAA, the Hurrian song H6 analysis, is reproduced below and on a dedicated page. Our special thanks to Wim van der Meer and to Kabalan Samaha for their initial help in producing the first video analysis (and to Wim for inspiring us with his work).
The template for these analyses has been developed and improved with the successive video analyses of Kyrie Ekekraxa.
Other analyses of Byzantine chant are available on a dedicated page.

You can also watch video-analyses of Breton music as well as of maqām music.

Note that video-analyses hold two rankings: one for the dedicated page, and the second – between parenthesises – chronological (date and time of publication) for all the video-analyses published by the CERMAA.
